I'm completely apathetic about doing work today, so I've been flipping through the backdated material on Overheard in the Office for entertainment. And I found a post (Jan 9, 5 pm) that pretty much defines what it is that I do for a living. So if you've ever wondered, this encompasses my entire line of work:

Open Letter to Hollywood Blondes
Ladies, Ladies, Ladies,
Dax Shepard is simply not attractive. Please stop dating him and giving any credibility to his "career." Kate Hudson, Kristen Bell, you've already been suckered in (here's hoping he is actually a funny guy off camera because he so far doesn't do it for me on camera).
While it's embarrassing history for Kate, and soon enough will be for Kristen, it's not too late for you all out there. Clearly he goes for blonde beauties whose talent far outweighs every good quality about him.
Same with Dane Cook - he's not funny either, though I can give him a pass on attractiveness if you're into the scruffy-college-slacker-that-never-grew-up-even-though-he's-almost-36-already thing. Jessica Simpson fell for it, and if recall correctly, I think Kate Hudson did as well (ooh, two strikes honey...)
But it doesn't have to be this way! We can fight this! Join me, and just say "No!" to the Dax Shepards and Dane Cooks of the world. Alone, we are susceptible. But together, we can save lives!
